We Love Porn collects a series of gut-busting, boobie-strutting adult comics by Jim that have appeared in Playtime and Blue Food magazine. It opens with an unruly look at some bad ideas Mahfood had for comics, including “Fuck All Ya’ll” and “Bunny The Fratboy Slayer”. Then, the book romps on through seven tales of strippers, sex, Santa, and donuts. One minute an undead Abe Lincoln is threatening to destroy the world, the next a dejected child is setting his negligent crackhead mom on fire. Honestly folks, I’ve never seen anything like this before. Of course there is the occasional jerk-off gag and a wicked panel where a Murderous Space Cock has his entire head planted in a girl’s rear end, but the book is more than just butt-naked cartoon honeys getting plugged left and right. We Love Porn is loaded with Mahfood’s sense of youth, social humor and bomb-ass art that has made his previous works so enjoyable. It’s definitely worth checking out, whether you’re a 40 oz. Comics enthusiast, or just someone looking for a good, fun read.
