CHARLIE'S ANGELS

Oh, yes. The ever-famous TV-drama-turned-movie formula. Where would Hollywood be without it? If you’ve seen the trailer for this film, you may have guessed that it is nothing more than an hour-and-a-half tits-and-ass fest. You guessed right! This was one of the worst movies of the year, but man it was fun to watch! Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu are three different little girls who worked for the police until Charlie took them away from their employer. Doesn’t that storyline just grab you? Me either. Barrymore plays the bad girl you can’t help but love. Diaz is the ditz that dances in her underwear (my personal favorite). And Liu plays the down-to-earth damsel. Rounding out the cast is the ever-lovable Bill Murray who plays Bosley. And what TV-drama-turned-movie wouldn’t be complete without Tim Curry? The Angels need to solve a missing persons case, but in the meantime they date, dance, and fight. Nothing more, nothing less. That’s about it. If I told you any more, you would have no reason to see this flesh-fest of a film. Let’s face it-- who needs a plot when you’ve got half-naked girls running around? Believe it or not, this is a chick flick for guys!
