Michael Moore, best known for his film and TV work (Roger & Me, TV Nation, and The Awful Truth), has just released his second book: Stupid White Men ...and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation. In the book, Moore discusses how President Bush Jr. stole the election, and with classic Michael Moore wit, gives the facts to back each accusation. This is one of the best books out right now. Moore's writing style is outstanding, and the knowledge you walk away with is priceless. Along with the title of the book, Moore takes a closer look at racism in America, stating that the "black man" is probably not the one we should be keeping our eye on. The fear of minorities is just an illusion created by the white man to keep America's eyes off what the white men are really doing. Think about it: The people with all the power are white. The only reason we see “black crime” on shows like Cops is because the owner of Fox is white. I know all this talk of conspiracies can come across a little over the top, but the sad fact is that it's all true; all of our information comes from the white man. These are just some of the subjects that Moore hints upon. He also points out that our nation is a melting pot of stupid people. It's sad, but true; most of the people in our nation have little or no common sense. As much of a wonderful, and humorous read as this book is, it's also a major bummer. I only hope that the intelligent readers of tastes like chicken will pick up this book and help change the sorry state of our nation.
