QUEENSRYCHE - THE ART OF LIVE
DVD review by Night Watchman

The first live release since Operation: Live Crime, Queensryche's The Art Of Live DVD proves what we longtime Queensryche fans have always known: there isn't a tighter live band in the world.

Concentrating mainly on the songs from last year's Tribe, Geoff Tate and company present a set from their co-headlining tour with Dream Theater, who even show up for an encore of "Comfortably Numb" and "Won't Get Fooled Again". Filmed in sepia tones with aged film effects, The Art Of Live is a stripped-down, intimate performance that showcases what Queensryche does best.

It's a great companion piece to ...Live Crime, showing two different sides of what a Queensryche show can be: big production and intimate encounter. It's a great treat for die-hard and casual fans alike.
