MICHAEL J. FOX SETS TERMS FOR STUART LITTLE 3

HOLLYWOOD, CA - After Tuesday’s announcement that Columbia Pictures will in fact be making a third film in the popular Stuart Little franchise, Michael J. Fox’s personal assistant released the following statement concerning the conditions of the star’s involvement with the project.
“Mr. Fox has agreed to again provide the voice for Stuart Little, and is excited about the possibilities of the next movie. However, he feels that simply portraying Stuart vocally will not give him the creative control he desires over the titular character. Therefore, rather than leaving Stuart’s physical performance in the hands of computer animators, Mr. Fox insists that he be allowed to provide motion-capture data for the character as well.”
Columbia has agreed to these terms, and its legal department is currently in the process of drawing together a contract for Fox, star of Casualties of War and The Frighteners. Details about the film’s plot are still sketchy at this point. However, a reliable source close to the screenwriters claims that, in order to compensate for Fox’s physical performance, a large portion of Stuart Little 3 will take place on top of a washing machine.
