So, last month, I reviewed Rahzel's Greatest Knockouts with nothing more than the actual CD itself. And it was an advanced press release copy to boot, so I didn't get to see who did what for the album, save for the various MCs appearing on it.
But I got corrected, and rightly so.
DJ JS-1, Rahzel's partner in crime, and recently inducted member of the legendary Rock Steady Crew, is just as responsible for the record happening as is The Human Beatbox himself. JS-1 put the CD together, arranged it, mixed it, did all the cuts, did the intro and all the interludes, and produced the songs on it. Unfortunately, I didn't learn all this until AFTER I reviewed the disc.
Yeah, I feel like a chump for not giving him credit.
So, seriously, this is an apology to DJ JS-1. I meant no disrespect.
