DRIVER OF THE YEAR - SOME GIRLS WOULD SAY...

Whilst listening to Some Girls Would Say... (Future Appletree Records), the new album from Driver Of The Year, I made the very personal and private decision to grow a big mustache and perm my brown-to-graying hair.
For why? Dunno for sure. Felt appropriate while I was listening to the first track, "The Squeeler". Felt like it was high time for me to get in on the Mr. Kotter action.
That didn't quite seem as necessary as the album went on. In fact, though there's a Seventies easygoing feel to the album, it's nothing at all like Welcome Back, Kotter. When I really think about it, the perm was the type of idea a retard in a coma would have. What the hell? (I'm keeping the 'stache, though. Poontang magnet!)
Yeah, friends for all time, if you come across this CD with the groovy, hot green women on black cover, and have the appropriate cash or a debit card with enough money in the bank to pay for the album-- and you want to maybe try something a little different and new with a down and dirty and kinda laid back and funky sound-- you could do a lot worse than Driver Of The Year's Some Girls Would Say....
