There is a fallacy in America today. The hope for the future is gone. Men like our fathers and the fathers before them no longer exist. Our heroes are lost to corrupt politics and seedy strip bars. The mothers who made us moral have all been swept away by minivans and designer drugs. But the real fallacy is in our youth. They cannot care and will never have the compassion or strength that tomorrow's leaders must possess. There is simply no chance for tomorrow. Just look around you. These kids are not going to grow out of their malice and disrespect. They will never give up their material possessions to save their ideals. They have been trained to hate and lust after power by the submission and degradation of others. You let this happen. I let this happen. MTV and mass media made this happen. We make excuses for a generation's expression instead of trying to give a generation its due guidance. Bling-fucking-Bling and laugh and pull guns on one another and rape and murder and call it a way of life and truth. All the while ignoring the fact that we live in a time and place that couldn't be more conducive to harmony. It makes me sick, but we all continue to do it. Let's all laugh and clap and make sure to buy all the merchandise that comes with the next big exploitation of human morality and the lack thereof. The very small few who understand what is happening know that they fight a lost cause. They are outnumbered. They can't win. No one really cares anyway. It's not my problem. God bless this country. The only place in the world where people can watch themselves get destroyed from the inside out and still call it freedom.
