LITTLE AXE

Do you know what my favorite color is? Blue. I like to wear blue. I like blue Kool-Aid. One time, my mommy had blue hair. Did you know that music is blue? Well, it plays music. Blue does. I think that's cool. Now, when I open my crayons, I listen real hard for it. But I never hear it.
vinnie came over to visit mommy Sunday, and gave me this music from Epitaph/ Fat Possum called Hard Grind, by a band named Little Axe. They are old guys who have cool voices and guitars. Suzanne Vega has a cool voice and guitar. Mommy listens to her a lot. She is pretty, and sings pretty, too. Mommy also likes something called "hardcore", which sounds like monsters yelling at me.
Little Axe are neat because they make me feel like I do when we sit on grandma’s porch in the summer and listen to her stories about the old days. vinnie says the producer is a "dub" producer. I don't understand, but I think it's like all the Bob Marley that he listens to. This music is cool. I can fall asleep to it. There is guitars, and people telling stories about blue music, and singing.
When mommy heard it, she took it from me, and listened to it for a long, long time. She said it's like the best thing in the world. But I said vinnie's supposed to be the best thing in the world. She said he's "you neek." I think that's Italian.
