VATICAN CITY, ITALY - The Roman Catholic church, in an effort to increase interest in their religion as well as create excitement for their current followers, has reinvented their main religious text, The Holy Bible. In a press release issued Thursday, Cardinal Henri Vichyssoise revealed that readers will now be able to control the outcome of the book, similar to the popular Choose Your Own Adventure line of books. The press release included the following sample of how the new book would work:
John 18:16-17
So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out, spoke to the woman who guarded the gate, and brought Peter in. The woman said to Peter, “You are not also one of this man’s disciples, are you?”
If you think Peter should deny his following of Christ, turn to Matthew 26:70.
If you think he should publicly declare his faith, turn to Amos 21:10.

The revised holy text, entitled Choose Your Own God, is expected to be completed soon. As of this printing, no publisher had been named.
