Fuck it. We’re online. We’ve got the extra space. I’m reviewing this. Everyone should listen to this. At least once. Especially with President Shithead in office. Without him fucking up as badly as he has, this record wouldn’t have been made. He and his rich, white buddies depriving the poor of their piece of the pie, raping the planet’s resources, driving people to desperation-- that’s what made this record possible.
The War on Errorism is fierce, kids. Like Public Enemy albums, or Clash shows. NOFX is pissed. Pissed at Dubya, pissed at punk rock, pissed at you and me for being so damn apathetic. The songs are fast, loud, and well-written. The lyrics are what you need to listen to. And don’t worry, ye of feeble anger: It’s not entirely pissed off. They interject a little humor with “She’s Nubs”, and end the album on a bit of a somber note, with Fat Mike and his bass alone in the studio, singing “Whoops, I OD'd”.
But it doesn’t take away from the overall tone of the message. Which is what’s important, despite what MTV and other awesome young-mind-controlling media outlets will tell you. We’re letting ourselves get rightly fucked in the ass by an entire administration, and it started on election day. And it's going to keep on happening, unless we do something about it. We can’t let it happen again. And if we can get more artists to stop acting like a bunch of fucking mindless tits, maybe we’ll be inspired enough to do something to keep America from crapping out.
Check it out at fatwreck.com. And if you need more proof these guys are serious, check out punkvoter.com. Even if you’re not "punk".
