Holy fucking tits, Batman! A Joykiller anthology? Epitaph be praised.
Eight years ago, these young dudes rocked all lame asses, unleashing their debut upon the cruel, cruel world. Two now-out-of-print releases later, they're being honored with a big, pink collection of their mad, crazy tunes. Thirty-fucking-two of them!
The original Joykiller line-up mixed cats from TSOL with a notorious punk bass player, and a guy who played keys for Tupac and Snoop Dogg! Fo' shizzle, young nizzles! Now, don’t get your G-Funk panties in a bunch. Having Snoop and Tupe’s ivory-tickler doesn’t mean you’re getting some rowdy-ass gangsta-rap punk. It’s absolutely funkless. But it is dark and mean and pissed-off and sexy. It’s rock 'n' roll, with the venomous spirit that good old punk rock possessed.
And there is so much sex on the packaging,.. part of me wants to buy 20 copies of the disc and put it on the shelves at Wal-Mart, just to freak out the corporate office.
