Indie music doesn\'t get much more indie-sounding than Blood On The Wall. This trio of music fans apparently hooked up at a used record store and started a band. There\'s no posing here. These are three music geeks (not an insult) who are just making music they like, and obviously having fun doing it.
The music is simple, loose, and energetic. Guitar and drums stuff. The vocals are split on almost every other track between a fairly calm, quiet sounding female voice, and a scratchy, manic indie singer boy. It makes for a nice variety, but it also makes almost every other song sound like it\'s from a different band. Two pretty good bands, though.
There\'s not much bad to say about Blood On The Wall if you\'re into lo-fi, scrappy indie rock. This sounds like the real deal. This is a band you\'ll see at a dive bar in the heart of your local college campus. The stage will be small. The entire venue will reek of booze, cigarettes, and maybe, just maybe, piss. You\'ll be crammed tight with a bunch of kids who probably don\'t bathe enough. But fun will still be had. Blood On The Wall is having a rockin\' good time, and it\'s infectious.
