THE BIG WAZOO: OPIE & ANTHONY

Dick and fart humor hit the Columbus afternoon airwaves last month by way of Opie & Anthony. The dirty radio duo are featured weekdays at 3pm on The Big Wazoo just in time for the kiddies. Call them crude, rude or vulgar, the show is funny. And it's just the release most of us need after a long day in a soulless corporate vacuum while we rot in homebound traffic. Their dead-on impersonations and witty banter leave few unscathed and little sacred during the show's four-hour run time. The show has several gags and contests I'm sure Columbus listeners will welcome: Blind Boxing, Squeegee Teens, Man Boob, the MILF contest (That's right, the Mom I'd Like to Fuck contest) and Whip It Out Wednesday-- an Opie & Anthony staple that I'm sure will catch on and inspire new listeners to expose the goods. Those of you who take the moral high road should take the stick out of your ass and tune in for a few laughs. Later you can be the hypocrite you know you are and bitch about how the show is dirty and accessible to children. But behind closed doors, appreciate it for what it is: damn funny.
