The band Muse definitely picked the best word from the dictionary to describe themselves as musicians. A muse inspires and stimulates one\'s brain, and that\'s exactly what they did last week at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.
Muse not only etched their performance into people\'s minds with their amazing live show, but also burned it into the audience\'s retinas with their intense stage light show. With a backdrop that lit up, multi-colored spotlights, spinning white lights, and pulsating strobes, the venue was a plethora of illumination.
Lead vocalist Matt Bellamy\'s almost epileptic energy stole the show as he switched from singing to rocking his guitar to playing a lighted keyboard on his knees. The entire band proved itself worthy of such an extravagant setup with their captivating electronica/hard rock hybrid, and also their enthusiastic stage energy. It was obvious that the three-piece band from England was more than excited to be there as they bounced around the stage like children through each of their compelling songs.
Muse gives an amazing, vigorous performance that leaves an audience impressed and inspired.
