There are two types of people in this world: those who like FOX’s Arrested Development, and those who like shit. My question is: when the hell did we start allowing the latter to be the deciding factor in what the rest of us with good taste will watch and listen to when it comes to TV, movies, and music?
FOX recently halted production on Arrested Development, cutting its normal 22-episode run down to a measly 18. The insanely retarded decision was made by FOX after this year’s Super Bowl, when Arrested Development’s time slot was replaced with the premiere of American Dad, a new animated series from the creator of Family Guy.
According to the ratings dudes, American Dad received insanely high ratings. FOX took this information, put it in their ratings/money converter machine (which can also tell the precise location of the remaining Wonka Bars with Golden Tickets), and computed that American Dad would make them poon-loads more money than Arrested Development-- thus causing FOX to go with the decision of replacing a brilliant show with one that is an exact replica of its predecessor. The fools!
FOX executives are entirely too retarded to realize that when the Super Bowl was over, most of the white trash snaggletoofs were either too drunk or too asleep to get off their asses and change the channel. Can one honestly and accurately rate viewers of a show that is aired right after the most-watched game of the year? I think not! I think we need a do-over.
The fact that FOX was brave enough to even air such a good show as Arrested Development made me shit myself... voluntarily, of course. But they unfortunately don’t have the balls to continue to support it without the fear of losing money. The rich, white bigwigs at FOX would rather have new Hummers (the automobile or the sexual act, depending on whether they are in the City of Industry or not) instead of a respectable and creative show that a lot of people like. Instead they continue to air shows like Life On A Stick and The OC to cater to the brainless filth that make up the rest of the population. When will the tyranny of the slothful, feeble-minded regime in our country be stopped? When?!?
