THE DATE: October 13th, 2005

THE LINEUP: HorrorPops, Roger Merit and the Disasters, and Left Alone

THE VENUE: Logan Square Auditorium - Chicago, Illinois

The show started off with the band Left Alone, who warmed up the audience for the long night ahead. Left Alone is a fun punk rock band that mixes in equal doses of ska and hilarity between each song. Following them was Roger Merit and the Disasters, who also gave a great performance with their classic, dirty punk rock stylings.

Then, and finally, the fabulous HorrorPops, who seriously give one of the most fun and entertaining performances I have seen in a while, took the stage. Even if you\'ve never heard their music, you will be thoroughly entertained by their adorably-creepy go-go dancers, their tough and mohawked guitarist and drummer, and Miss Patricia herself, with her rough, sexy vocals and tattoo-decorated upright bass. If you weren’t at Logan Square on October 13th, you missed a great show.

Speaking of Logan Square, I will never, ever go to a show there ever again. Apparently, making money from the press is more important than their reputation. Luckily for me, the HorrorPops\' cool manager let me and my husband in, so this review can exist.

THE SHOW GRADE: A+
