Hi. My name is Sal Swayzo. This is my top-ten list. (WARNING: Careers could be made or broken here... beware!)

HORRORPOPS - BRING IT ON
The second album from this awesome psychobilly circus. I think you should find out for yourself why I chose Bring It On for my number-one choice.

BLOOD OR WHISKEY - CASHED OUT ON CULTURE
This amazing, traditional Irish-punk record failed to disappoint throughout. You might not be able to understand a single word, but that won\'t keep you from doing an Irish jig.

LE TIGRE - THIS ISLAND (THE REMIXES)
I love Le Tigre. This album makes me love remixes, too.

MIKKI JAMES - GUESS WHAT?
Garage rock at its rockingest, from the first to the last track.

DRESSY BESSY - ELECTRIFIED
Gotta have an indie-pop rock band, and this one is fun. Takes you back to the days when Luscious Jackson and The Breeders were big.

THE TUNA HELPERS - I\'LL HAVE WHAT SHE\'S HAVING
Imagine three very spooky and creepy dolls. Now imagine the dolls forming a band.

THE MUTTS - LIFE IN DIRT
I am a sucker for a good, gritty, pre-punk sound. Life In Dirt is the grittiest.

ORANGE - INTO THE ORANGE
Wow! Pop-punk that doesn’t make me cringe! These young\'uns even have a sense of humor!

TIGER BEAR WOLF - TIGER BEAR WOLF
Seventies punk sound perfectly blended with modern 21st Century punk.

THE KISSERS - THE GOOD FIGHT
I\'m a sucker for traditional Irish/modern rock music. I can’t help it. I’m, like, 10% Irish.

I really want to name a few more albums that I really liked this year, but didn’t make the list for whatever lame reason:

- THE BRAVERY - THE BRAVERY

ROGER MIRET & THE DISASTERS - 1984

BLACK MOUNTAIN - BLACK MOUNTAIN

- MORNING WOOD - MORNING WOOD

- MANDA AND THE MARBLES - ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES
