Keira would always get jealous when Tom talked about his past. It didn’t even have to be his sexual past; it was anything he did in life before she came into it that made her crazy. I would always try to bring her back to reality; to make her understand that his past was what made up the person she fell in love with, but she couldn’t grasp my rationale. She had already turned into someone else. A person who was tortured by their own thoughts, letting jealousy deteriorate their soul, and rot their personality and relationship until there was nothing left to be saved.

There are three things you should probably know before reading this review:
1. Rasputina is one of my favorite bands, so this review is biased... but that doesn’t mean that I’m not completely right about how brilliant this album is.
2. By listening to Rasputina’s latest opus, Frustration Plantation, or by diving into their back catalogue of So Long And Thanks For The Ether, How We Quit The Forest, or Cabin Fever, Rasputina may become one of your favorite bands as well.

Tribute albums suck.
This one is no exception.
Good bands, bad album.

Ambulance LTD have a great full-length out called, appropriately, LP. It’s some of the best Brit-pop to never come out of England, because Ambulance LTD are from the Big Apple. It’s a nice mix of The Beatles, Kevin Tihista, Jon Brion, and even a little bit of My Bloody Valentine (on one of my favorite tracks, "Heavy Lifting").
