ATLANTA, GA - In the latest polls, cancer has pulled ahead of AIDS and Alzheimer's to become the world's most hated disease.
A spokesperson for cancer, Mr. Winston Marlboro, responded, "Yeah. It’s a helluva disease. People... well, people hate it."
Noted poll analyst, Jake Darrow, stated, "There were some write-in comments, as well. One in particular that stood out was: 'I wish cancer would get AIDS.'" Shaking his head, Darrow keenly observed, "That can’t be good."
Cancer did not return our calls for a response at press time.
