When I first popped in I Wanna Be Well, I thought, "Did The Dead Milkmen make a new album?" Then the vocals chimed in, and I quickly realized, "No. Definitely not."

No matter. "I Wanna Be Well" is an extremely pleasant listen. This indie pop record by Kevin Alvir is strangely soothing, but not in a slightly depressing kind of way. With poppy guitar and upbeat lyrics about everyday life and love, it put me in a nice mood.

The record is very down-to-earth, which is no surprise considering Kevin Alvir recorded the album by himself at his home. So, If you want to listen to some light, happy, indie music, give I Wanna Be Well a listen.
