The show at Chicago\'s Metro kicked off with the phenomenal 12 Step Rebels. This psychobilly band is one of the best new bands I have heard in a while, and they gave an awesome, high-energy set.

I always imagined the wrath of God would sound really loud. Oddly enough, I also imagined it would hail from Canada. You can imagine the smirk on my face when I saw Death From Above 1979 live a few weeks ago at Milwaukee’s own Mad Planet. It really was the wrath of God; a pleasant kind of demise. Luckily, the only thing that died was my hearing.
