Snoozer is the brainchild of Rhode Island's Susie Ghahremani. Since 1996, when the Snoozer experience began, it has been a one-woman operation. Though she also plays in a band called Snuggletooth, her newest musical venture, entitled Winter Stops All Sound E.P., is a fun, bouncy little nugget of joy.
It’s weird-- I usually don’t get into stuff like this at all, and the first time I heard it, I didn’t dig it much. But I put it on "repeat" while I was painting, and found that I really enjoyed it.

These guys hit the nail on the head when they picked tisucks.net as their website. Basically, if a whiny, sappy, lovesick ballad-writing butt rock band like Poison gang-raped a trendy, bubble gum punk band like blink-182, and they became pregnant and shit out an emo-style punk band, Transfer Interrupted would be that band.
The disc only has five songs on it, but it was a struggle to get through the first two. To be fair, however, I listened to it from beginning to end,.. twice.

I can remember when I first heard Einsturzende Neubauten. It was the beginning of my musical awakening-- a completely alien soundscape to a kid raised in a small town on butt-rock and Top 40 radio. The idea of clanging homemade instruments with German lyrics was intoxicating. I can’t say that I always understood the music or what they were trying to do, but I still purchased the entire catalogue.
