STRONGBAD_EMAIL.EXE DVD

You know, I\'m very aware that this three-disc DVD set doesn\'t need publicity from us for it to do well. If you\'ve been on the Internet at all in the last couple years, chances are you know about the world of Homestar Runner. And if you\'re familiar with the site, you\'re definitely aware of Strong Bad and his email answering... let\'s say, \"abilities\".

SOCIAL DISTORTION - SEX, LOVE AND ROCK 'N' ROLL

I’ve loved Social Distortion about as long as I’ve been able to buy my own music. Back in the day, I was looking for a voice as alienated as my own, so liking them had more to do with their punk rock spirit than their musical abilities.
But as they’ve continued to release albums, I’ve continued to get older. I’ve played a little music. Lived a life experience or two. And now, I hold Social Distortion even closer.

SNOOP DOGG - BIGG SNOOP DOGG'S PUFF PUFF PASS TOUR DVD

Weed! Dude, weedweedweedweedweed! This shit is phucking phat, dawg! Phat! (And you know I mean bidnez if I\'m all, like, using the \"ph\" instead of the \"f\"!)
This documentary follows Snoop Dogg as he and his fellas-- like Goldie Loc and Bishop Don \"Magic\" Juan-- tour the United States of America looking for weed in every state!

SNOOP DOGG - R&G: THE MASTERPIECE

I remember a time about ten years ago when Snoop Doggy Dogg (as he was known at the time) was simply a backup rapper to the legendary Dr. Dre. The young Calvin Broadus (Snoop\'s real name) was just a tall, lanky, creepy-looking kid that you didn\'t want to fuck with. There was no clothing line, no lead roles in movies, and definitely no porno video collaborations with Larry Flynt\'s Hustler empire.

NOW PLAYING: GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS

Player One: Staff Member #716
Okay, I wasn\'t originally planning on reviewing this. I\'ve always thought the purpose of this column was to educate the more casual game fan about some of the lesser-known games that don\'t get the recognition they deserve, or to save them from buying some overrated, over-publicized, over-hyped piece of shit. Everyone who owns a PS2 is going to buy Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas regardless of what I say, and rightly so.
So why even waste the time reviewing it?
Because I have to. It\'s that fucking good.

READING BETWEEN THE PANELS

Hi, everybody. It’s time yet again for another heartfelt and awe-inspiring installment of the best comic column that tastes like chicken has: Reading Between The Panels.
This month you need to know about a short-lived title that started out strong, kind of petered out in the middle, and is now just kind of dragging itself along the ground with its hands (because its legs just don’t work anymore) until it can cross its finish line (which has coincidentally been moved up quite a bit since the book\'s inception). The book: Marvel\'s NYX.

LEDERHOSEN LUCIL - TALES FROM THE PANTRY

In my utopia, someone like Lederhosen Lucil wouldn’t have an alias. She would just be, and remain, Lederhosen Lucil. And since this is my review, in the section I’m in charge of, Lederhosen Lucil is Lederhosen Lucil. Period.
Lucil is a German in Canada, with Swiss Miss pigtails and authentic German lederhosen. She’s also got two rockin\' antique Yamaha keyboards that serve as the Lisa and Wendy to her oompah-hearted Prince. But don’t think there’s a lick of polka on this disc.

KINNIE STARR - SUN AGAIN

I only get about 300 words to express why you should buy this record, but 300 words isn’t nearly enough to nail each and every possible comparison. Just expect the funk: Kinnie Starr breathes the funk. She is R&B (which is funky), hip-hop (also funky), trip-hop (again: funky), and a whole slew of additional dips and drops into just plain funky territory.
It’s a kind of funk not seen since Luscious Jackson left for more obscure pastures, with a spaced-out rawness comparable to Altered Vibes\' own Def Harmonic.

JUNO REACTOR - LABYRINTH

Electronic music is always a little tough to pull off. Attempts at adding traditional instruments into heavy synth arrangements and electronic drums rarely work out. But here on Juno Reactor’s Labyrinth, they’re knocking it out of the park a good 95% of the time. From the opening track\'s acoustic flamenco guitars and exotic vocals floating through the air, they set the mood right away.
